Romanticized yet deeply truthful is how I approach portraiture – you know that feeling of a chaotic Monday evening at 5 o’clock, home in shambles, mind weary from holding the line between siblings learning to share. Dinner’s ready. The littles gather at the table, voices chirp, fingers grab. Suddenly you see their dimpled hands like it’s the first time and your heart feels a throb of eternity in the middle of the spaghetti sauce.
Your life is a sacred calling, and it brings me so much joy to make art out of the memories you’re weaving into this holy tapestry called motherhood.
I believe we were made for beauty. To create it, to share it, to long for it.
